On Olivia's and Aiden's actual birthday me and the kids met up with my friend Michelle to go to the zoo at The Irvine Railroad Park. She had a family pass for the day so we got in for free!

Michelle took the girls into the petting zoo part for me while I stayed outside of the gate with the babies. Kayla loved brushing the goats!

After exiting the zoo we fed the kids, and then walked around the park for a bit.
We found this photo op! Again, it was sooo bright!

When Tommy got home from work we had the girls help the babies open their gifts from us.

Then we put some candles in some cupcakes, sang to Olivia and Aiden, and let them destroy the cupcakes!
Well, Olivia destroyed hers anyway!

Yum! She knew more what to do this time around, although I was surprised she didn't try to eat more!

Aiden now weighs 22 lbs 5 oz (less than I thought he weighed and only in the 40th percentile) and is 30 inches (60th percentile)
Olivia now weighs 21 lbs 2 oz (60th percentile) and is 30 1/4 inches (taller than Aiden and in the 85th percentile!) - Our tall one of the bunch (Kayla and Haley are only around the 50th percentile for height!)
Both babies have taken about 7-8 steps on their own, but they still prefer to crawl! They have switched to whole milk (we will save a ton on formula!), and are in the process of switching over to sippy cups - they are fighting it! Olivia says Mama, Dada, baba, and dagh-dagh (doggy), and Aiden says Mama and Dada.
I love that Olivia was wearing a butterfly outfit on her birthday. Butterflies remind me of your grandma. When ever I see one flying, I always say to myself "Hi Aunt Nancy" :) And I absolutely LOVE the picture of Kayla on the "horsie" she looks like she is having the time of her life.
