We had a great time celebrating Kayla and Haley's 4th birthday on Monday. Tommy made everyone pancakes with strawberries, bananas and whipped cream for breakfast. We stuck #4 candles in the pancakes and sang Happy Birthday to the girls. Then Tommy's mom came over to watch the babies so Tommy and I could spend some quality time with the birthday girls! They got all dressed up in their Belle and Snow White dresses and first we took them to Downtown Disney. We went to the Build-a-bear there to let them give one of their stuffed animals a bath. Then we took them to The Disney Store there to pick out toys (Kayla got a Sleeping Beauty Barbie doll, and Haley got a Toy Story figurine set). After that we took them to California Adventure and Disneyland! We went on Soarin' Over California, The new Ariel ride, Toy Story, Thunder Mountain (twice!), and Pirates. We got the girls birthday buttons, Mickey Mouse pretzels, and lollipops. Last but not least we watched the firework show which they had never seen before. I have to admit that I teared up a little bit listening to the songs while holding and hugging my Haley girl. :*) Oh yeah, I forgot to mention their presents that were all wrapped and laid out waiting for them on the table that morning! Zhu zhu pet hamsters (hopefully they'll stop asking for real ones now - lol!), Angel's jerseys and Mickey Mouse ears for their Build-a-bear stuffed animals, Movies (Bambi, The Aristocats, Open Season, and Stewart Little), Tinkerbell skates (complete with elbow and knee pads - lol!), and the Kangacoo (made by my friend who designs a children's clothing line, and who the girls modeled for in the spring) coat Kayla has been asking for, and the Kangacoo poncho Haley has been asking for since April!
Presents all set out for them the night before so they would be waiting for them when they woke up in the morning. :)

Haley loved hers too! (it is one that she modeled in the shoot as well).

I love my big girls so much, and they had a wonderful birthday! I couldn't have asked for it to go better! We still have their party coming up in a couple days, and we are all very excited to see how it goes!
